Great art, great artists, great fun! Join nearly 13,000 Decorative Painters and 250 local chapters! A t SDP, we believe that anyone can learn to paint, and painting together with friends and family enriches lives. If you are a painter yourself, you already know the value that art can bring to a life. You probably also know how vitally important it is to have support and encouragement to succeed. If you are just starting out, unsure if painting is right for you, know that nearly 13,000 members and 250 afliated chapters in communities like yours look to SDP to teach and inspire them throughout the year. Many are inspired not only to paint for themselves, but also to use their art to raise spirits in their communities and to raise funds for charities that are important to them. We strive to spread that message throughout the world and bring the joy of decorative painting to everyone, but we can't do this important work without painters like you joining SDP. HOW CAN I HELP? By starting or renewing a membership with SDP, you are supporting the community of artists and arts educators that call SDP home. Your membership dollars ensure that we will have the resources to continue recruiting the top artists that grace the pages of Te Decorative Painter magazine, and teach hands-on classes at SDP events. You will be ensuring that the annual Conference & Expo (approaching its 50th year!) can travel around the country teaching classes, promoting artists and vendors, and spreading the joy that comes from decorative painting. Lastly, you will be helping SDP develop new programs, online features, and local events to serve you better. WHAT DO I GET? With your SDP membership, you will receive four issues of Te Decorative Painter magazine. Te magazine is flled with the art and artists you love, projects for all skill levels, as well as community news, coming events, new products, tips and tricks, and more. You will also receive our member discounts good for signifcant savings at many art supply stores, and specialty vendors of projects and painting surfaces. You get access to our exclusive online bonus projects and printable linework for all of our projects. With a computer, iPad, or other mobile device you will be able to interact with our current issue online, or read a growing archive of past issues – a library of painting projects at the touch of your fngers. Your membership allows you to start or join an SDP chapter and take part in painting events, classes, and community service projects in your community. Most importantly, you will get peace of mind from knowing you are part of a network of like-minded artists that love painting and want to help each other improve their skills. Join us today! SDP offers a variety of membership tiers to make painting with us affordable for everyone!
